Behind the Scenes at GNDA: Building More Than a Competition

Over the past few months, there has been so much happening behind the scenes, and I couldn't be more excited to finally start sharing it with you.

When I took over the Global Nail Design Awards, I didn't just see a competition, I saw an opportunity to create something that truly brings our industry together.

My vision has always been simple: every year GNDA should continue to grow, evolve and adapt to what our industry needs at that moment. I want it to be more than a competition. I want it to become an experience that inspires, educates and celebrates everything our incredible nail community has to offer.

Today is a huge milestone because we've officially launched tickets for not only the GNDA Nail Expo, but also the very first GNDA Gala.

There are now three ways to experience GNDA:

✨ GNDA Nail Expo – Spend the day exploring the latest products, meeting your favourite suppliers, watching live demonstrations and seeing the excitement of the competition unfold.

🏆 GNDA Awards Gala – Join us in celebrating the outstanding talent within our industry as we present medals, trophies and recognise this year's winners.

👑 The Ultimate Experience – Enjoy the best of both worlds with early access to the Expo, exclusive pre-Gala networking with drinks and canapés, followed by the Awards Gala.

Competitors, judges and sponsors already receive these experiences as part of their registration or sponsorship package.

Introducing the GNDA Gala

One of the additions I'm most excited about is the GNDA Gala.

If you've ever watched the Met Gala, you'll know it's so much more than an awards event. It's a celebration of creativity, personality and self-expression. It's where fashion becomes art, conversations become connections and unforgettable memories are made.

That's exactly what I hope the GNDA Gala becomes for our industry.

I want this to be our Met Gala.

Whether you've always dreamed of wearing an elegant gown, a dramatic suit, a breathtaking costume, a masquerade masterpiece or something completely outrageous, this is your chance.

There are no expectations, only an invitation to express yourself.

Come dressed in whatever makes you feel incredible.

We'll have a professional photographer capturing all the unforgettable moments throughout the evening, creating memories you'll look back on for years to come. More importantly, it's a chance for our community to slow down after an exciting day of competition, connect with one another, celebrate achievements and simply enjoy being surrounded by people who share the same passion.
